Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana has made dedicated efforts in all its endeavors to deliver community-led, impactful, and replicable solutions at the grassroots. With its team of professionals and experts and a dedicated volunteer base, BJS has been leading several large-scale programs across its core intervention domains.

BJS has been a leading NGO involved in relief and rehabilitation efforts during all major disasters in India since 1993. With its ability to mobilize committed volunteers across the country, BJS has effectively demonstrated its capability to respond to and initiate rescue, relief, and rehabilitation operations within the first 24 hours of the disaster. BJS stepped up its efforts by initiating education rehabilitation for children affected during the Latur earthquake and since then has supported in ensuring the well-being and educational rehabilitation of children affected by farmer suicides, drought, and malnutrition in tribal areas of Maharashtra.

Since 2013, Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana has closely worked with the community, district administrations, and central and state governments in the area of water resource development. We have developed a scalable water sufficiency model ensuring an increase in water availability by rejuvenation of existing water bodies and reinstating storage capacities. The model has been successfully implemented across the states of Maharashtra and Karnataka.

With Indian traditions, culture, and values as our foundational philosophy, we have several interventions for Family strengthening and community welfare addressing to concerns and issues of different age groups.

During the devastating Covid-19 pandemic, BJS played an important role in several states through a range of initiatives in collaboration with the State Governments and Municipal bodies. BJS provided support to more than 40 lakh people through initiatives like emergency health services, oxygen concentrators, vaccination drives, and large-scale awareness programs like Covid-Free Village.

Our interventions are designed for scalability and replicability, thus demonstrating the potential to maximize social impact.
